Non-Member Firing Services

At our studio, we have a “self serve” measuring box you can use to calculate your firing cost. Please come in during any open hours with your pieces to utilize this station.

We calculate the cost of firing your pieces by the cubic inch:

Bisque firing - 0.06 per cubic inch

Glaze firing with our glazes - 0.10 per cubic inch

EX: My mug is 4 in wide by 5 in tall by 3 in long

If I choose to bisque fire my piece only:

4 in x 5 in x 3 in = 60 total cubic inches

60 cubic inches x 0.06 cents (bisque firing rate) = $3.60 cost to bisque fire
